Although all polling places are now accessible, there are some special provisions to assist Elderly or Handicapped Voters. Among these are:

Absentee voting without the affidavit from an attending physician or Christian Science Practitioner.

Curbside Voting -- Election Judges are now permitted to go to the voter in his or her auto or at any point at which the voter is unable to continue forward into the polling place. To take advantage of this special provision the voter must contact the County Clerk's Office prior to Election Day.

Assistance in the voting booth by the Election Judges or by a person of your choice other than your employer, or agent of that employer, or an officer or agent of your union.

For more information, call the County Clerk’s Office at (815) 772-5189
